Attorney / Title Examiner
Bill Jones
Bill was born and raised in Haskell County, where his family’s roots run deep wherein his
great grandfather, J.L. Jones, served as the first county clerk. He earned his Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University in Lubbock before returning home to
continue his family’s farming and ranching operation. During this time, he discovered his
talent for custom home building.
Bill later pursued and obtained his law degree from Texas Tech School of Law. In 1992, he
opened a private practice in Haskell serving the local area and surrounding communities.
When the opportunity arose, he and his wife purchased the local title company where Bill is
now a licensed escrow officer and title examiner, with a wealth of experience in commercial, farm and ranch, and residential real estate, as well as resolving complex title issues.
Bill cherishes his free time with his loving wife and family, while managing his farm and
cattle operation.
